New for Summer 2009- Montauk Whale Watching
Whale Watching and Marine Cruise Excursions
Due to popular demand the Viking Fleet will be adding whale watching trips to this summer's schedule. The trips will begin July 5th and will depart the dock every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday . Departure time for the excursion is at 9:30am and return to the dock is at 3pm. We will sail aboard the Viking Star which is equipped with a full galley and a top deck with seating for observation. The cost for the trip is $49 for adults and $19 for children between the ages of 5 and 12. Children under 5 ride for free!
Half Day Fluke Fishing
We will begin fishing daily on our Half Day Fluke trips on July 3. These trips will sail on the Viking Starship and will depart twice daily. The first trip leaves the dock at 8am and returns at noon. The second trip leaves at 1pm and returns at 5pm. Adult fares are $45 and children between 5 and 12 years are $25. Kids under 5 ride for free! Your fare includes rod and reel as well as all bait.Don't forget- if you take both the am and pm trips in the same day, the second trip is half off. The Viking Starship is equipped with a full galley where you can purchase snacks and beverages.
Night Striped Bass FIshing
The Viking Starship will depart the dock at 7pm and return at 1am. This trip will sail every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. As always live bait is included in the fare. We fish with live eels whenever available. The cost is $85 per person and reservations are strongly recommended.
Montauk Full Day Porgy Fishing
For the months of July and August Porgy fishing out of Montauk is sailing daily aboard the Viking Stariper. Departure is at 7am every morning and we will return to the dock at 3pm. The cost is $70.00 for adults and $35.00 for children between the ages of 5 and 12. As always children under 5 ride for free. Bait is provided free of charge.
Full Day Block Island Fluke and Sea Bass
This is a favorite of the more experienced fisherman. This year the trip will sail aboard the Viking Star which is equipped with a full galley. The trip will sail on Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning July 3rd. The target wil be Jumbo Fluke and quality Sea Bass. Bait is included free of charge. The fare on this trip is $100.00 and will be strictly limited to 32 anglers.
Wednesdy Coxes Ledge Cod Special
The Viking Star will depart for a Special Coxes Cod Summer Trip at 4am returning to the dock at 4pm. The fare is $100.00 and reservations are required. Bait is included. Thi trip sails every Wednesday throughout July and August.
