Sunday June 2 Dave Duffy Charter Click HERE for photos from this trip! The
Dave Duffy Charter returned a few hours early with very good results
despite the weather we had to deal with. The first morning started out
slowly but by 2pm this turned around 100 percent with lots of bent rods
for the entire boat. Drift after drift saw Tiles, Hakes, Bacardis and
Northern grouper flying over the rails, steadily filling coolers. By
days end everyone was worn out. With the forecast calling for increasing
winds we decided to try Wreck fishing for Cod on day two and it had the
opposite results of day one. The Cod started to bite right away with
the first few wrecks producing the best fishing of the day with guys
catching as many as 16 to 18 a piece. With the weather forecast calling
for more wind on day three we took a ride back to Montauk point to try
our luck at Striped Bass fishing. We started jigging at sun up for a few
hours and it was the right time, two and a half good drifts yielded us
18 Striped Bass up to 20lbs, Blues and even an 8.05 Fluke. By 8am
everyone was shot so we called it a trip and a very good trip at that! A
huge thanks to Dave Duffy for putting this trip of awesome guys
together and thanks for all the food they put out for the buffet on the
way out. A heads up guys, there are talks between Capt. Steven and Dave
about doing two of these trips next year... Don't miss out! Click Here
